Trust Membership

To become a full member of CGDT, you should be a permanent resident in Colintraive and Glendaruel and on the electoral roll. Junior memberships are available to those aged 16 to 18 who provide an address at which a parent or carer is on the electoral roll. For those who don’t fulfil these conditions, we have an associate member option. If you become an associate member, you cannot vote at development trust meetings, but your contribution will be welcome.

Membership is £5 per annum and payable prior to submitting your online application for membership. Alternatively, you can choose to lodge your payment and application with the trust secretary at our next public meeting. In either event, once the board have approved your application, your membership will be active and full/junior members will be eligible to vote. Please note, however, that the board cannot approve NEW membership applications received on the day of a general meeting, but existing members will be able to renew their membership by making payment at the meeting.

Lastly, to confirm the residency of full and junior members we will apply to the council to confirm the electoral roll status of yourself or your parent/carer, so this information is not required in the application form, but will be essential for your membership to be confirmed.
